Alexandre is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Sciences. He specializes in remote sensing (LiDAR and satellite imagery) applied to forest ecosystems, and in enhanced forest inventories.

Guillaume Moreau
Guillaume is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Sciences. He is particularly interested in hardwood forest silviculture and growth-climate relationships in temperate, boreal and subarctic forests.

Loïc D'Orangeville
Loïc is an Associate Professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Science. His areas of interest include forest ecology and health, and vulnerability to climate change.



Active Projects
Silva21 is a silvicultural research program aimed at providing data, tools and practical solutions to improve the resilience of Canada's forests to various disturbances and stresses. The program thus contributes to the health of these ecosystems and the well-being of the communities that depend on them.
