Alexandre is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Sciences. He specializes in remote sensing (LiDAR and satellite imagery) applied to forest ecosystems, and in enhanced forest inventories.

Guillaume is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Sciences. He is particularly interested in hardwood forest silviculture and growth-climate relationships in temperate, boreal and subarctic forests.

Loïc D'Orangeville
Loïc is an Associate Professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Science. His areas of interest include forest ecology and health, and vulnerability to climate change.



Current projects
Developing and testing new forest management practices known as
"pyrosylviculture", with the objective of creating
landscapes that are more resistant to fires while maintaining biodiversity and cultural values.
